Zelia Otsutsuki
The Himezawari are a branch of Nomadic entities. often refered to as gods or nymphs.
The clan made its start when Zelia first appeared on this planet, with the Moon Zeikai Getsuju.
New to this world and its ways Zelia decided to travel on her own through the world, Getsuju following her close behind.
Satake Yoshitaka
Once Zelia was traveling the world she met with many people, But there was one man who stood out from the rest, A kind feudal lord (Daimyo) By the name of Satake Yoshitaka, who was protected by his friend and well renowned Shimin (Elite Samurai) Notsumi MasashigeZelia would travel around with her Shamisen playing melodies for people of any status And when people hear her melodies they forget their troubles and are filled with feelings of peace and happiness. And when the night comes with children fearing their nightmares and unable to sleep, the melodies in Zelia’s tunes easily lull the little ones to sleep. Thanks to the continued melodies the young ones are able to continue their slumber without the tormenting nightmares they have each night.She spent many days learning from the Geisha and studying the Orian. The Geisha’s abundant skills in art and music for entertaining their paying audience.Satake and Zelia would meet one day at the request of the high noble, And she would play him music.
Clan Marks & Traits
After this event they would grow close and eventually Zelia would settle down with Satake and they would have several children together. All had special powers like their mother Zelia, examples are the ghostly white appearance and specific shape markings. as well as the horns that resemble flower stems and thorns apart from the patterns and texture of said protrusions.
The First Marked Himezawari Children
Before marrying Satake, Zelia had joined a fight against the forces of evil spirits. Getsuju and Okina Shika following her in this strife.Zelia had around four children. All who had horns, these thorny stem-like excrescences would develop shape marks the moment their mother kissed their protrusions. The marks of a mothers love, each mark held different powers within them that made the children well known throughout the world at that time.
Guardians of the Moon and Forests
All four children would then help with the task of keeping Getsuju under watch on the moon and the forests and nature of earth protected from those who wished it harm,Each had the ability to teleport to the moon. using their inherited powers from their mother and lingering abilities from Getsuju to do so. Riaki had the red rhombus marks, Gujo had the square marks, Kimiki had the circle marks, and Towa had the triquetra shaped marks. Each shape has a designated ability but the clan itself has rare abilities that can only be used by purebloods.
The First State Wars
The first State wars was a huge turning point in the clan's reputation. since many new of the Himezawari clans powers and ancient roots they feared them and began hunting them down as that fear and hatred grew to an unhealthy amount. Many children and elders where brutally slaughtered by great hoards of Samurai and Shinobi no Mono, and even members from the Ancalagon clan. Specifically Yano Tashi the infamous Dragon of Greed.Since the Himezawari clan was spread out throughout the Regions of Steel, Sands, And Inferno. they had no specific village they considered themselves to be a part of, and were a close knit clan, very determined to protect each other... so in reality they had no alliances to any lands but only official members. This devotion is what struck fear in many. The entire clan could join up with any enemies the Region of Fire or the Region of Steel had made during the wars, and potentially cause a power advantage in doing so.So the elders that were left decided that the clans second form was to be locked away and the Himezawari left were to go into hiding.Those Himezawari female who went into hiding also ended up in arranged marriages to hide their last name and continue the Himezawari legacy secretly.Since the Phantom Form cannot be unlocked without the help of a (Undetermined Clan Line) massacre was both a good thing and a bad thing.it helped in protecting what was left of the members but at the expense of the unique powers, abilities, and history of the clan.
